For a uni class in 2020 I designed my first zine, featuring experimental works on typography. Under supervision of the graphic- and type-designer Martin Gnadt I did a deep dive into experimental type design and the basics of editorial design.
As an homage to Christian Chruxin, who was one of the pioneers of applied graphics, I tried to work with his designs in mind. The fold-out cover refers to his poster series for "Künstlerhaus Bethanien" in 1976, as well as the inside design of the fold-out, which quotes his book covers for the "rohwohlt" publisher. For a deeper insight, the full zine is available on request.
